Beast Coast representatives The Underachievers have been visible within the trip-hop scene since they formed back in 2011 and former releases Indigoism and Lords of Flatbush have seen them praised for their unique style of psychedelic instrumentals and catchy flows and lyrics. Despite this, their last group project was back in late 2014 with their debut album Cellar Door: Terminus Ut Exordium. In this time, they have toured the US and Europe, released Clockwork Indigo alongside Flatbush Zombies in October 2014 and both members AK and Issa have pursued solo projects.
However, this weekend saw the duo return with a whole heap of news for their fans. The first was the announcement of their next album Evermore: The Art Of Duality. While an official date was not been released, the 15-track disc is set to drop in Autumn/Winter of this year and fans will expect to see the same passion and energy that is now expected of the Flatbush residents. To whet the appetite of The Underachievers fanbase, they also combined the announcement with the release of a new track ‘Take Your Place’, which is a hard hitting MrBrist0l produced number which sees both members letting loose with a flurry of fire lyrics. While both artists hold their own, AK [the Savior] kicks off the track with a strong intention;
