B.J. The Chicago Kid ft. Chance The Rapper & Buddy – “Church”

The new cut “Church” is the latest offering from B.J. The Chicago Kid, which features Buddy and fellow Chicago native Chance The Rapper. The last time these two met was on Chance’s smash mixtape “Acid Rap“, where B.J adds vocals to “Good Ass Intro” and “Everybody’s Something“. This time they are on a more smooth song together, with B.J. touching on the ever so popular subject of people only being religious on Sunday. The American party lifestyle is often seen as deviant, which delves in acts that God would most likely disagree with! Can I get an Amen? From drugs to alcohol to acts in the bedroom, all of these temptations have his eyes wide open as he tries to stay focused. Chance arrives around the 3:05 mark to deliver a witty verse with some clever biblical references. The song is taken from B.J.’s upcoming LP “In My Mind“, which is also set to feature Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and OG Maco. Listen to the song above.
