Janelle Monae & Wondaland Protest In “Hell You Talmbout”

Janelle Monae & Wondaland – “Hell You Talmbout”

Janelle Monae “recently” founded the “Wondaland” label & movement, which features artists such as Jidenna, Roman GianArthur, Deep Cotton, & St. Beauty. The movement represents the inner soul of Janelle Monae, who has successfully revived the suave style of African-American female singers in the 1960’s. For their latest team offering, they have created an abrasive sounding R&B song, in which they shout the names of those fallen victim to the suspected racially fueled police brutality in America. With the subject already at the height of every media channel, tensions have been slowly rising for quite some time now. The team over at “Wondaland” wanted to send a strong message, to make sure we are aware, and that we do not forget, the names of those innocently slain across the U.S without valid justification. They have also released their first collaborative project, “The Eephus EP“, which was released sometime yesterday. Purchase the project here, or listen to the song with a message “Hell You TalmBout” above.
