Amid the flurry of summer collections & vibrant packs, New Balance turn to the past for their most multiple release. Inspired by the vintage style of the 50’s, the most worthy of New Balance trainer models are covered in old-fashioned classic colourways including the 996, 997 and 998. The release is known as the “Connoisseur Rockabilly” collection. New Balance are proud to mention that this collection was “proudly made in the USA”, stemming from their huge following, success, progress and manufacture all in the “home of the brave”. The cheapest of the three (you’ll find) is the brightest of the bunch, the 996, which comes in Angel Blue and Light Grey. Next we have the 998 that comes in a Black/Grey/Bolt colourway, and last but not least we have the most expensive out of the trio, the 997, which you will find in Grey/Black/Silver. All three come in a suede and mesh upper, with the number of the shoe etched into the rear of the midsole. You can buy them all at the New Balance store here, or at various other retailers worldwide.
