South London’s Bonkaz has been enjoying a great year in 2015. Not only has he signed a record deal with Sony (part of Danny Weed/DJ Target’s Pitched Up imprint) but Bonkaz latest project Forgive Me When I’m Famous EP was released to critical acclaim from many UK taste makers. Now following up with all that success, Bonkaz feeds his fans with a great new vibe entitled ‘Solo/So Low’. Following up the two parter ‘Brown Eyes/Run Out The Ends’, and street smash ‘We Run the Block’, this new track finds Bonkaz in a more introspective mood, and is yet another testament to his impressive versatility.
The future looks bright for the Croydon rapper as he plans to headline media outlet Pigeons and Planes‘s first UK show – No Ceilings. He will be joined by boundary pushing singer Sevdaliza who just released one of the year’s best videos with ‘That Other Girl’. Also performing is Leks Rivers, an incredibly talented young singer/producer with a powerful voice and an eclectic sound that draws influence from the funk, soul, and rock he grew up listening to as much as it does contemporary rap and grime.
