This weekend saw a flourish of goals and some surprising results. The Premier League is witnessing a very exciting start with a lot of new signings playing well. Chelsea’s demise is still in full swing following a 2-2 draw with Newcastle. United now lead the table after City slipped up a lost their second game in-a-row after a 4-1 thrashing from Spurs.

Daniel Sturridge, Liverpool fans will rejoice after Sturridge scored his first goals in a while. Marginally beating Villa 3-2, Liverpool may take some pressure of Rodgers if Benteke and Sturridge collaborate well.

Alexis Sanchez, got his first Premier League hat-trick and became the first player to score one in the Prem, La Liga and the Serie A. Finally getting on the score-sheet this season Arsenal can be happy that their main man from last season is performing well. Can Arsenal challenge for the title?

Virgil van Dijk, one of the best signings this summer Van Dijk finally left Celtic for a Premier League club and scored his first goal against Swansea, a club that were reported to be after him aswell. The Dutchman is a great talent and looks to continue the Southampton clean-sheet-squad.

Erik Lamela, hit-and-miss since joining Spurs, mostly miss. Lamela picked up a goal and an assist in Spurs’ triumph over Manchester City. #FilthyFellas this week will certainly have Mitch singing praises about the North London Club.

Martial, Mata, De Bruyne, Lukaku and Pelle are all good scoring players, nice and consistent and would be ideal for the Fantasy Football team. Arsenal and Manchester United are in the best form at the minute, Liverpool, City and Spurs are temperamental and Chelsea poor form of late.
