PBGR surprise with 4RE PLAY EP drop

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

East London duo PBGR dropped a surprise EP this past week, their first full length project since 2014’s Black Market. Since dropping tracks ‘Four Seasons‘ and ‘Oh Well‘ in the past 12 months, the anticipation has been building on what the pair will deliver next. 4RE PLAY is a laid-back, more melodic offering, which only serves to show how diverse PBGR have become over the past two years.

A deeper exploration into familiar territory, as opposed to a full-scale departure from the PBGR sound, there’s also input from frequent collaborators Miraa May, Charlie Mase, and Mo The Artist while DC and Ralph Hardy are credited as executive producers. Outro ‘All I Need‘ is a fitting closer, existing as possibly the best example of the smooth, accomplished sound that was aimed for across the EP.
