With his debut EP expected soon, Cadenza‘s journey this year is going to be a big one. He has recently released new track ‘Hacienda’, a Hip-Hop/dance track with a beat similar to something you could hear from grime. This artist is clearly mixing up his sound with a wide spectrum of influence, which makes his music all the more interesting. Expect big drops and sick beats in the well produced ‘Hacienda’. The London producer, real name Oliver Rodigan, teams up with fellow beat-wizard Syv and together they fuse elements of reggaeton, dancehall and dark bass for a club-ready knocker that’s just screaming out summer. With the track’s tribal tones and manipulated vocals creating an infectious, flute-driven anthem, the two are on top form right here.
The track has certainly set expectations for the upcoming EP. ‘Hacienda’ is instrumental and has Brazillian chopped vocals which glitch and trip throughout. It was born out of a collaboration with Black Butter affiliated SYV. This young man has talent in many areas, so will appeal to listeners in many different worlds of taste. This release comes as a teaser for an upcoming project, so expect more from Cadenza very soon.
