In the wake of multiple viral deaths, L.A artist [Westside] Boogie has released a song dedicated to the matter and to his son named “Hypocrite Freestyle“. The song details his experience as a father, along with his life in L.A., which shouldn’t come as a surprise if you’ve followed his most recent mixtapes “The Reach” and “Thirst 48“. Opening on some strong words, the RnB-esque background vocals provide a soulful and touching dedication to the worldwide “Black Lives Movement” movement. As detailed in the tweet below, it’s an issue clearly close to home. Accompanying Jay-Z‘s “Spiritual” and many more, check out the release above via SoundCloud and check back soon for when he releases his brand new project, “Thirst 48 Pt.2 “.
