Rude Kid and Ghetts have stormed through the studio yet again and have whipped up the monstorous ‘Peng Tings‘ which has already amassed over 60,000 plays within a month of being on Soundcloud. Rising from the ashes of the still smoking fire that is the 653 E.P, Ghetts reloads his ‘One Take‘ bars to open the track, making you feel like the records super fly cousin just blasted out of the speakers!
With a mucky, deep, string led bassline, Rude Kid smashes out the handclaps and an underlying vocal that throws ‘Peng Tings‘ back to early Ghetts bangers such as ‘Sing 4 Me‘. A flavour of Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Oiii‘ makes you Fix Up, Look Sharp and in amongst the layers of ad-libs, Ghetts delivers his undeniably prodigious flow.
Rude Kid has so many new and exciting projects going on at the moment; he only recently announced and started his brand new weekly Kiss Grime show on Sunday evening from 10pm, along with creating the music on the new Beats x Anthony Joshua advert, playing at Glastonbury and being hottest record in the world last week for his remix of Chase & Status’ ‘Spoken Word‘ ft George The Poet.
Having caused a storm with their original collaboration, all eyes and ears are back on the master of 140bpm production and the legendary grime emcee for the release of ‘Peng Tings‘.
