Calez feat. Alex Wiley, Mick Jenkins & Donnie Trumpet – Still Good

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

The spotlight has been on Chicago’s hip-hop scene for a while now. Over the past couple of years we have been delivering many talented artists, with versatile styles. Adding to the great summer we have been having, this week we get a song that showcases just some of those talented versatile artists that Chicago has to offer. Last we heard from Calez was when he dropped his Ceito project but it looks like he’s been working and he’s ready to break his silence. Calez is back with a new song as we wait for the release of his upcoming project Baby, which according to Calez on Twitter, we’ll be receiving the release date sometime next week.

Making its premiere on Beats 1 this afternoon, ‘Still Good‘, Calez’s new feel good single, has a beautiful and soulful beat produced by Rollie, with added brass by The Social Experiment frontman, Donnie Trumpet. Alex Wiley and Mick Jenkins add some distinct guest verses to the mix, and Donnie Trumpet supplies brass melodies to add to the instrumental. With Baby on the way soon, this single has us more anxious than ever to listen to what Calez still has under wraps.
