Coco feat. Protoje – Ova Here

Coco links up big, bad and heavy Jamaican reggae artist Protoje for serious new track ‘Ova Here‘, the 2nd release on Toddla T’s Steeze label. Fuelled with a huge bassline over drums & keys, this track shows Coco’s versatility as he spits over a dark beat, and shows him playing his position as a flow-master. It’s a certified tune for London’s forthcoming Notting Hill Carnival.

Filmed in Kingston, Jamaica, Protoje’s hometown, and produced by Toddla T & The Drum Keys, Coco releases his thoughts on his music journey and the system as he get’s lyrical in a mindful state. Coco said “Feels such a privilege to work with Protoje. Was sick going over to Jamaica to film the video and see my roots”. Coco also made a recent announcement of his first ever headline show at the London O2 Academy2, Islington on September 22nd.

The summer is not over for Coco as after already hitting the stages at HUGE festivals such as Glastonbury this year, taking to Ibiza Rocks to support Stormzy and performing at Red Bull’s Manchester Carnival, as well as recently performing at the Royal Albert Hall for Jamie Cullum’s BBC Proms. He has more performances left this Summer including Bestival and Notting Hill Carnival.
