London-born singer SAMSON offers his second track ‘Disguise‘ – another hauntingly truthful, expansive and layered new release that continues to mark him out as one of the most exciting new vocalists this year. Following on from his debut cult hit ‘In My Mind‘, SAMSON unleashes a gorgeous and exotic second release with ‘Disguise‘, again produced by emerging producer Sakima [already receiving heavyweight acclaim from Zane Lowe at Beats 1]. SAMSON again addresses contemporary culture – changes in character as well as an independent slant on sexual relationships – identifying his own strengths and insecurities within it in the proess. Counting artists like Gallant, NAO and Mura Masa amongst his influences, Samson continues his own engaging take on contemporary life.

Speaking on ‘Disguise‘, SAMSON states:

“I wanted to create a track which confronts our need to change personas. ‘Disguise’ is about being raw and honest with yourself. It’s about being in control of your own body and not having to love in order to feel passion in return. Collaborating with SAKIMA on this release encouraged me to challenge myself and be more open in my writing. His production emulates a sense of mystery, which fits perfectly with the song”.
