Dave Shows Us The Way With His ‘Six Paths’ EP

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

In 2016, we have seen a number of fantastic UK talents coming through the urban scene and one such star is South London’s Dave. Since breaking through on a number of freestyles from [email protected], DJ Semtex and SB.TV, Dave was instantly relatable due to his effortless flow and delivery and real life topics. His first single ‘JKYL+HYD‘ drew on his early freestyles and combined them to a storytelling aspect which only elevated his name within the scene. After working alongside the likes of AJ Tracey and Dream McLean, Dave announced that he would be releasing his first full project, Six Paths and after weeks of anticipation, it has finally dropped!

Prior to it’s release, Dave has already dropped two tracks [and videos], ‘Picture Me‘ and ‘Wanna Know‘, a juxtaposition of tracks who showcase his range of flows, skills and talents. While ‘Picture Me‘ is a slow number which looks to pass on a message to the younger generation, ‘Wanna Know‘ provides a light relief and is almost a sing-along number with ad-libs galore. The project is well rounded from the hard hitting, skippy flow on ‘Six Paths‘, to the guitar backed ‘Panic Attack‘, to the reflective ‘End Credits‘ – Six Paths is a coming together of everything Dave has been working on. His first project is at times experimental, but it makes for fascinating listening.
