Fresh off his August EP Thank You, Mr. Tokyo, Madeintyo kicked off the beginning of fall with a breezy number by the name of ‘Smash3x‘. He returned last night with another loose release called ‘Front‘. Fueled by his relaxed delivery, Madeintyo is continuing to prove his longevity in the music game. With a run time under two minutes, the song is brief but enough to feel the vibe. Produced by longtime collaborator K Swisha, the track is a fast-paced trap anthem that showcases Tyo’s natural rapping talent.
“I’ve been working all day, boy I need some rest/Diamond draw, baby by ooh, icy on my neck/I’ma pull up to the scene, yeah, I’ma bust a check/I’ma pull up to the scene, yeah, I’ma bust a check/He ain’t me, he ain’t me, he ain’t getting said cheese/ Broke boy, broke boy, don’t please,” Madeintyo raps.
‘Front‘ bears little resemblance to the more lackadaisical previous release, except for K Swisha’s penchant for pairing booming 808s with whimsical upper register synths. Tyo channels Makonnen vibes on the hook. The record finds the artist delivering infectious rhymes over a flute-laced instrumental. Madeintyo’s next release is supposed to be a collaborative work with Metro Boomin.
