Kamaiyah teams up with YG to ‘F*ck It Up’

Like Love Haha Wow Sad Angry

We have been watching Kamaiyah for a hot second [featuring her previously as one of our One To Watch artists] and it’s about time we heard some new music from her. After releasing her debut mixtape A Good Night in the Ghetto back in March, she’s been steadfastly receiving accolades from fans and critics alike. After dropping the video for the massive ‘Why You Always Hatin?‘, a song that Kamaiyah penned for YG [and also features Drake], the Oakland MC is back with another set of visuals for A Good Night in the Ghetto standout track ‘Fuck It Up“.

Produced by The FADER and directed by Chris Simmons, Kamaiyah maintains that infectiously fun aesthetic for the video as she rides around Oakland and celebrates her success with her friends in the parking lot. “The ‘F*ck It Up’ video was about bridging the Bay to L.A. gap,Kamaiyah told The FADER. “I wanted to bring the Town out in a positive way and to have fun. I think we were successfully able to convey the message”.
