NEXT Architects Lucky Knot / Dragon King Kong Bridge

Not quite ‘The Great Wall’, but someday it may stand as an important landmark in China‘s Changsha Meixi Lake District. Brilliant & breathtaking, the Lucky Knot Bridge is likely to be one of the most impressive things you’ll see this week. Also known as the Dragon King Kong Bridge, it’s big, red and curvy aesthetic will bring out your inner artiste. It was designed by NEXT Architects, who have bases in both Amsterdam Beijing. Their whole character is built around imaginative creations like this one, as it stretches over 185 metres. It fits the growing and changing nature of the city, with a locals shown above clearly taking a liking to it. Carefully calculated by infrastructure experts, the steel bridge only adds to the beauty of the Dragon King Harbour River.
