Over the past few months, ATL hitmaker Zaytoven has been teasing fans of his & Future’s long awaited Beast Mode 16 project, saying that Drake was to be expected on the first single & that it was completely finished back in September, but nothing ever came of it until today that is. At the stroke of midnight, Future decided to release his new song & accompanying video with the 6 God called ‘Used To This‘. With a piano-laced instrumental provided by Atlanta beat veteran Zaytoven, the track finds the two rappers dropping infectious, melodic bars.
The Eif Rivera-directed video, which was partially shot during their sold-out tour, finds the rap all-stars on the field at a women’s soccer game. While the female athletes rock the colors of the Mexican flag, Future and Drake trade rhymes in their respective jerseys.
“Mexico, workin’ like I’m Mexico,” raps Future, while Drizzy reps his day ones. “I’m with everyone I was here with in the first place,” he rhymes. “Makin’ sure that they all good before they close the curtain.”
The pair previously collaborated on a mixtape last year, What a Time to Be Alive. The two toured together in support of the project on the Summer Sixteen tour.
