Kx may not be a name known to many but she has been racking up views via her official Soundcloud. As well as her previous release, ‘Blame‘, she has also covered Childish Gambino‘s hit ‘3005‘, both showcasing her extrodinary and unique talent. Last week, she returned with ‘Pillowtalk’, written by herself and producer/grime artist PEP and recorded in the Chocolate Factory, West London.
“This was probably the easiest song for me to write as it was inspired by a painful breakup I went through during the duration of the recording sessions” Kx said when we caught up via email. “‘Pillowtalk’ for me represents that moment you sit in bed without any distractions and notice the pillow next to you with nothing left but the memories of the person you loved and frustrations of getting them out of your head, a painful moment that most have probably experienced!” The emotion of the track shines through and it’s clear that Kx is one to watch in 2017!
‘Pillowtalk‘ is the second track from her EP entitled 1:AM which is set to be released on iTunes and Spotify very soon.
