Labelled by FACT Magazine as a “monstrously addictive Afropop banger”, future star, Krishane has unveiled the video to his latest offering, ‘Found Da Boi‘. Premiered by Dazed Magazine this week, this feel-good jam is the perfect combination of reggae-soaked pop and also features one of afrobeat’s leading artists, Wande Coal. Speaking about ‘Found Da Boi‘, the Jamaican artist explained;
“Recreating something that shows off colour & soul. Inspired by her but represents the literal meaning recognising and appreciating what is in front of you, as well as embracing happiness. The icing could not have been better placed on the cake by a feature who resonates with the sound and want to help its message travel, Wande Coal blessings!”
Since uprooting to from his hometown of Manchester to Jamaica, and then back to London a few years ago, Krishane has been busy in the studio perfecting his sound. A relentless talent, he has also found the time to work with fellow singers including voice-of-the-moment, Jess Glynne with whom he co-wrote the chorus to Tinie Tempah’s latest smashes ‘Not Letting Go‘ and ‘Mamacita‘. Being the son of veteran reggae singer Barrington Levy, Krishane grew up in a world of music in his home of Jamaica and channelled that passion by writing and singing from a young age.
