Big Sean drops his brand new album entitled, ‘I Decided‘, following a successful promotional period and positive response from the singles released. With the likes of ‘Bounce Back‘ and ‘Moves‘ being two lead songs from the project, we could get a rough idea of what the LP had to offer. Similar to the way he executed the drop of ‘Dark Sky Paradise‘, the rapper roped us in with a strong theme and attractive visuals. Featuring the likes of Jeremih, Eminem, The Dream, Migos and more, the heavy body of work stands out a satisfying 14-tracks. With production handled by a huge list, including Key Wane, Metro Boomin, Detail, Dj Dahi, Dj Mustard, Sean himself and many, many others. His girlfriend and Twenty 88 partner Jhené Aiko also appears, with her project being teased and also arriving soon.
Delving into the project, the standout tracks are extremely difficult to pick, mainly due to the consistency throughout. There’s a nice balance here, but if we had to choose we would say the singles are probably the go to songs. Chosen well by Sean and his team, they are very catchy and possibly have the best replay value. However, overall the LP brings a super mixture of emotions, from inspiration to turn up. Eminem‘s verse on the already-released ‘No Favors‘ is a must listen, with equally as impressive vocals from all other artists involved on the album. Track 12, ‘Inspire Me‘, shows the other side of the rapper’s music, paired with ‘Sunday Morning Jetpack‘ for a slice of transparency and purity.
