Nike have unveiled their Barcelona kit for the 17/18 season in La Liga Santander, as the Catalonia club gets a fresh revamp on the navy, maroon and gold-accented kit. Their royal uniform sees all three logos prominent across the torso, as the world renowned team continue their sponsorship from Rakuten. As always featuring Blaugrana stripes down the centre, the shirt also has solid underarms and subtle detailing at the collar. Nike applied their weather smart Aeroswift technology to the fabrics of the kit, which simultaneously enhances it’s modern look.
The spurring phrase “Forca Barca” is placed on the inside of the sleeves, with the words split into two and divided on either side. Apparently dropping on July 1st, Neymar Jr models the kit in the lookbook above and explains,
“Pulling on the new Barça kit for the first time creates a mixture of pride and optimism for the season ahead. It looks and feels like a modern uniform of sport.”
