Wretch 32 delivers on stunning fourth solo album, ‘FR32’

UK rap veteran Wretch 32 recently released his fourth studio album ‘FR32‘, delivering 12 well-produced and well-executed records. Bringing fresh sounds and a new theme every album round, the respected lyricist takes an overall light-hearted and carefree approach to this project. Finally turning 32 this year, a lot of songs also reflect his experiences, insight and values. Whether you want to think and vibe or get up and dance, the songs included  are meant to evoke whichever emotion you want them to.

With the title itself  harnessing a whole host of different meanings, the musician has already received heavy acclaim in the album’s first week. Reviews across the board are claiming that this may be his “best album yet”, something for critics and fans alike to debate about. Featuring a handful of familiar collaborators, the project sees guest appearances from Loick EssienKojo FundsJahlaniJ WarnerRukhsana MerisseYxng BaneAvelino and Kojey Radical.

Those that worked on the release with Wretch have said that it reflects a different, more up-beat side to the artist’s music, who brought a deeper, more “conversational” tone on his last major effort.
