Afronaut Zu releases powerful self-produced effort “Oh My GOD”
Off Balance artist AFRONAUT ZU releases his mighty self-produced single, “OH MY GOD“, taken from his debut EP “Melanalia“. Following up his first solo effort, the powerful musician offers commentary on current world events, summed up with a single phrase. This makes for an inspiring record from ZU, whose raw but flawless vocals truly impress throughout. The best creatives don’t just tell their story in detail, but offer food for thought for all those that they happen to reach. This is an exciing factor about Afronaut Zu – as we look towards his anctipated, upcoming solo project.
Perhaps best known for his live performances with Rudimental or even for his role as lead singer of Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons, it’s clear that there is some serious strength in his voice. You can’t help but feel like this explosive performance is only a taste of his what’s to come, communicating honest pain and discomfort in his delivery/execution. A thuming but fitting instrumental matches the occasion, with contrasting and engaging melodies that ensure an instant rewind.
