Azealia Banks signs new million dollar record deal / Readies Fantasea II: The Second Wave LP
NYC’s Azealia Banks is back in a major way. Following multiple hiccups during her recording career thus far, the MC put pen to paper earlier today (January 31st) and signed a million dollar new record deal. Taking to Instagram, Azealia revealed that she has inked a contract with Entertainment One Music. The multifaceted artist captioned:
“I’m now officially signed to E1 Entertainment!! I HAVE A HOME AGAIN… I’m crying 😢. The Industry left me out on the street like a stray dog and now I have shelter again. This is really making me cry I’m so happy and grateful and thankful for all of this and I promise I’m going to make the KUNTS so proud. Thank you guys so freaking much you don’t know how much this means to me @eone_music @williamrobillardcole”
Azealia is also prepping her first release under the imprint which will be titled Fantasea II: The Second Wave. Due in March, the LP marks the New-yorker’s first release in almost two years, following her Slay-Z mixtape. Hopefully, Azealia can stay signed and focus on the music.
