Music Video Monday” is back for another week.

Here at L Ø S T CULTURE, we want to give recognition and praise the creatives behind the lens as well as the talent in front. Let’s see what outstanding talent there is for this week.

First up is Avelino feat Dave with “You Can Stand Up“, the visuals were shot at the Barbican estate area. The video includes Avelino hanging around a block flats and the youths of today in some fantastically shot stills. Dave comes in halfway through repping a trapstar tee also sitting around a block of flats. The visuals match the lyrics perfectly and it really makes the video more powerful. We see Avelino on the top of a tower of flats at the end whilst rapping “You Can Stand Up” which really empowers the lyrics. Next up is “Stirfry” from Migos with a kung fu inspired video. The trio gamble in a Chinese restaurant along with Bape creator Nigo and Pharell Williams who produced the track. We see Pharell later wilding nunchucks and we find Migos dressed as martial artists. This video is a fun watch along with extremely good shots.

We see Mabel and Not3s yet again collaborate, this time on “Fine Line” which is another fun shot video. Filmed in Johannesburg in South Africa, this video is a happy, non-stop party from beginning to end. Mabel, Not3s and the crew all hit the city and make their way to clubs but the scenery in this video is what we loved the most. Up next is Rudimental with “These Days” which was filmed in both London and Seattle. Just like the song, the video captures the life cycle of a relationship. Macklemore and Jess both stars as the lovers as we see the early moments of the pair loved up and sadly the end doesn’t end so good. However, the visuals to accompany this is shot so realistically it really captures your eye.

Last up is Jhene Aiko feat Rae Sremmurd in “Sativa“. This video is very futuristic, it opens with Jhene created in a lap by Rae Sremmurd which she is then released into the world. The video comes to an end with Jhene outlining he sci-fi ideas for the Sativa video in a notebook. A very interesting watch.
