Sleazy x K Don x Culps unleash their “DRIPSET Vol 1” tape

Some of Manchester’s most notorious rappers have teamed up for “DRIPSET Vol 1“, as SleazyK Don and Culps aim to make their stamp on the scene with this collaborative, 6-track effort. The talented trio have natural chemistry, built from organic and real relationships outside of the music. This is communicated clearly throughout the tape, which brings fluid energy from start to finish.

All songs are well-executed by sharp in-house producer, Matic. Handling the production for the entire tape, the skilled beatmaker offers alternative flavours of hip hop, rap and trap music, included during its compact runtime.

Records “Sprite” and “Dope” are among the standout tracks here, both receiving visuals you can see above/below now. It’s certainly going to be difficult for listeners to pick a favourite, with high levels of quality remaining consistent throughout. If it is your introduction to these artists, the 6-track effort should be enjoyable at the very least. Ears seasoned to this style of music will surely be satisfied even more so, with chilled tracks like “Photo” adding a little depth to the tape.

Track 3 harnesses the most interesting instrumental out of the bunch, as “Stick” pulls from a creative but unexpected place. The remaining tracks manage to retain the energy and round off the overall neat release. It’s likely we’ll see more videos from the project arriving soon, with Sleazy already teasing more new music and a follow-up tape via social media.
