J. Cole scores fifth number one album / Simultaneously charts three times in Billboard Hot 100 Top 10

J. Cole is at the top of his game. Not only has the North Carolina MC scored massively with his KOD project, but he’s set a new Billboard Hot 100 first.

KOD, Cole‘s fifth studio effort sits on top of the Billboard 200 with 397,000 combined units (streaming and physical sales). On top of this, the rapper has set a new record by having three of the albums records debut in the Billboard Hot 100′s Top 10. KOD‘s ATM, Kevin’s Heart and KOD sit at numbers 6, 8 and 10 on the tally. Finally, all of Cole‘s 12 album records sit somewhere on the rest of the Hot 100 chart.

Here’s how the rest of the project fared:

Photograph – 14, Motiv8 – 15, 1985 – 20, The Cut Off – 28, Brackets – 30, Window Pain – 41, Friends 46, and Intro – 53.

J. Cole has definitely proven his stake in today’s rap arena with the huge numbers and stats across the board.
