“Music Video Monday” is back for a Easter Special. Here at L Ø S T CULTURE, we want to give recognition and praise the creatives behind the lens as well as the talent in front. Let’s see what outstanding talent there is for this week.
First up is Lady Leshurr with her freestyle titled ‘Black Panther‘. The visuals are of excellence. It is shot on a ‘DLR service’ from Stratford where she is dressed with a ski mask and in a futuristic outfit to go with the theme of the film. Flashforward to her wearing all black dancing with two men but still showing that she is the strong female woman. The visuals are so good as nothing distracts us from Lady Leshurr as we are wanting to hear the lyrics because from previous freestyles we know that she goes in. Next up is Frisco with ‘God Forgive Me‘, taken from his new project. The visuals are a classic grime video with the both of them rapping in different places. The scenery in this video is what makes it stand out as we see them in a basement along with outside a church hence the title.
Up next is Lil Simz with her latest visuals to ‘Morning‘. The visuals consist of chopped behind the scenes shot of her and her team on tour and we also see the energy she provides when performing live. The visuals for this video are different and it is why it stands out, very nice to see a package of clips we would not normally. Yungen also dropped visuals for his song with Jess Glynne ‘Mind On It‘. Set on an exotic island the visuals show extravagant views ranging from the nicer parts to the not so nicer parts. Regardless all of the shots are perfect for this fun song. Last up is Tinashe with ‘Me So Bad‘. We see her on the tennis court in very revealing clothes and dancing with French Montana and Ty Dollar Sign.
