Nike unveils special edition title-winning kit for Manchester City F.C.
Right winger and attacking midfielder Raheem Sterling models Nike‘s commemorative kit for North-West England’s title-winning football club, Manchester City. Already beating their popular neighbours with an early victory, Pep Guardiola‘s Cityzens may have had their best ever season numbers wise. Recently crowned champions of the Barclays Premier League, their global kit manufacturers join in on the celebrations with their special design above.
The team has already worn the jerseys in the warm-up against Swansea a few days ago, where they played at the Etihad Stadium and ended up winning 5-0. A sky blue and maroon double stripe is pasted across a clean white Dri-fit shirt – paying homage to the club’s 2017/18 home & away kits. The word “CITYZENS” is applied horizontally across the front of the jersey, meant to honor the Man City faithful.
The limited jersey will be available April 30th on Nike‘s official website here, with prices currently announced. Man City‘s official store may also stock the shirt, but this is also unspecified for now. Enjoy the gallery above now and be sure to see more sports news at the link provided.
