Update: J. Cole & Lil Pump Interview Each Other at The Sheltuh
Recently conducting a last minute interview with Angie Martinez, J. Cole shows no intention of slowing down. Performing at Rolling Loud shortly after that conversation took place, a small clip has “leaked” showing the staple rapper talking “Gucci Gang” artist, Lil Pump.
Friction between the two has been highlighted on social media, due to differences in content and a generational gap. However, addressing there is no hard feeling on his part, Cole explains on “1985” (taken from latest album KOD) that he would love to chop it up and give advice to this latest gen of rappers. With Lil Pump in particular, he feels the hate is just trolling, especially from his fans.
This was reiterated in the interview with Angie (see here), where Cole highlights his intention on bridging the gap and shows great interest in talking to them (mumble rappers) about life. Available to listen to below, Rolling Loud teased that the full version is arriving in the near future. Refer below to see both or visit the link underneath for more of the latest.
Update: Full interview is now available above at J.Cole‘s studio and Dreamville‘s hangout place, The Sheltuh.
