Max Valentine borrows from an R&B classic on new single “Fame”

Multi-faceted musician Max Valentine returns with another single in the shape of “Fame“, which recently received a quality set of visuals to boot. Pulling from J-Lo’s famous record, “If You Had My Love“, he neatly executes a his own take on the hook. The North London talent remains consistent with this release, both sounically and quality wise. This cohesiveness flowing from one single to the next shows Max‘s appeal in full, hitting listeners with back to back smashes.

This club driven single arrives courtesy of skilled producer, 1st Born, who is a longtime peer and close collaborator. The versatile beatmaker supplies Max with a polished sound, which the artist builds off with infectious and familiar melodies. Valentine explains:

“Fame was made with the intention of being played in the clubs, but at the same time I wanted a strong catchy message. The melody of the hook is one that we would all be able to relate as its an old school classic”

Kamcordings directs and produces this time around, seeing Max take a break from his recent story-based series of music videos. This visual  attempts to highlight everything that fame brings, although the rapper explains that he’s more focused on the money so he can help those around him.
