“Music Video Monday” is back, here at LØST CULTURE, we want to give recognition and praise the creatives behind the lens as well as the talent in front. Let’s see what outstanding talent has been shown thorughout this past week.
First up is Drake – with the visuals for his latest single “I’m Upset“- which seems to be a regular occurrence for the rapper. The visuals are set in Drake’s hometown of Toronto, visiting different spots including the Toronto Raptors’ basketball court. The video shows Drake going to his high school reunion, with a big twist.
Up next is Krept and Konan with their music video for “Wrongs”, which features Jhené Aiko and serves at the lead song from the duo’s “7 Nights” mixtape. The visuals are clean and simple, featuring all black and white throughout.
Also, making the list this week is Stefflon Don with “Senseless”. The rapper heads to Jamaica (looking incredible) for the bright and colourful video, definitely bringing ultimate summer vibes.
Yxng Bane returns with “Both Sides” which features sick VHS style effects. This is what makes the video stand out as it isn’t the standard rap video, offering an edgy touch which ensures you stay engaged. Last up is Mist with “Ain’t Nothing” visuals, which is very laid back as we see him remix his lyrics in the studio with his team.
