Jay-Z & Beyoncé release joint album, “EVERYTHING IS LOVE”
During the past 72 hours, Beyoncé completed a few of her OTR II European dates, dropped her joint album w/ Jay-Z titled “EVERYTHING IS LOVE” and released a brand new music video for her album-featured song, “APES**T“. Apply dubbed The Carters, the iconic couple finally pair up on a music level for a long awaited and highly anticipated full length collaborative album.
Ricky Saiz handles the visuals, artistically shooting the global musicians at The Louvre – which has stirred light controversy on social media. Arriving at a humble nine tracks, the project holds a few features and guest appearances including Migos, Pharrell and Ty Dolla $ign. Contemporary production and updated deliveries differ from the pair’s early-to-mid noughties R&B style, which was even prominent as recent as 2013.
Following the format of their recent records with DJ Khaled, the single above screams “Top Off” (turn up), but there are a few “Shining” type records on the release too. Hov‘s critically acclaimed LP “4:44” saw the two in perfect harmony though, addressing tough relationship issues in front of the world.
