Pip Millett drops instantly loveable new record, “Love the Things You Do”
Emerging British R&B singer Pip Millett recently dropped her sweet new record, “Love the Things You Do“, a chilled semi stripped-back cut that follows her impressive previous release, Make Me Cry“. If that single didn’t do it for you then this certainly should, as the singer once again brings to the table controlled vocals, delightful harmonies and a generally soft voice that’s easy to vibe with. Soulful producer Lester Duval also deserves much credit for keeping the instrumental simple but effective, and even emotive.
Both musicians subscribe to the thinking that “less is more” here, as the record sees Pip take center stage without having to execute vocal backflips. This standout record could easily fit into a playlist of classics from the 90’s, yet seamlessly also offers what many of us love in similar current artists such as JGrrey, Jorja Smith, Mahalia and others.
Bringing her own clear style and sound though, you can stream/download “Love the Things You Do” via Spotify below or on all major platforms now. Be sure to comment your thoughts on the record in below or click the highlighted link for more new music.
