J. Cole unleashes “Album Of The Year” Freestyle // announces “The Fall Off” coming soon

Claiming that he has the best project of 2018 with “KOD“, rap leader J. Cole drops his “Album of the Year” freestyle with controversial platform, Worldstar Hip Hop. Arriving out of nowhere, the 2 and a half-minute onslaught of bars is presented over classic instrumental “Oochie Wally” by Nas & Bravehearts. Seemingly teasing a prelude before he follows up his previous release with new project “The Fall Off“, Cole appears to have announced “The Off Season“, which may be a mixtape arriving first.

Over the past week, Cole, his manager IB and their team over at Dreamville have been asking producers on social media to “feed the beast“. Cole himself tweeted the video for the freestyle with “feed me“, a running joke that doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. Perhaps gathering an array of beats for his prelude tape, see the tweets below.
