KITH x Coca-Cola x Converse combine for four-piece Chuck Taylor 1970 Collection
In just under one week’s time, KITH will deliver their antcipated Coca-Cola and Converse collaboration for FW18. Applying co-branded print to the Chuck Taylor 1970 and designing matching apparel in similar tones, the drop will feature four vibrant variations of the classic skate/street wear silhouette. Constructed with mainly denim and other textile fabrics throughout the upper, each pair harnesses a large, embroidered Coca-Cola logo across the sides and heel.
Red, blue, white and yellow are the options available, said to represent the United States, France, Russia, and China. Each is finished with a translucent green outsole and cream/off white midsole.
Posting the full drop on his Instagram, Ronnie Fieg explains:
“Bridging Coke and Converse was a no-brainer for me. Two all American pioneer brands that stand for so much more than the goods they create. For this round, we used raw edged heavyweight denim in colors to represent different countries and languages that are all so iconic to the world.”
