Dizzee Rascal & Skepta Join Forces on New Song ‘Money Right’

UK rap icons, Dizzee Rascal and Skepta, shared their new single  ‘Money Right’, taken from the former’s upcoming new EP.

It follows Dizzee’s 2017 album ‘Raskit‘, which NME described as “[trading] good-time anthems for social commentary” in a four-star review.

Although a leaked version of the single was circulating online, the lavish record has now earned an official release.

Skepta spits, “Everyday man follow me surfin’ online tryna catch the wave / Get baptized make your whole crew capsize,” Skepta spits. “Been bullying crews for days / Tell that p*ssyhole stop talking rubbish / When I came in with the thuggish ruggish.”

During a Beats 1 interview with Julie Adenuga, Dizzee broke down the background behind his new song with Skepta, saying, “He showed me the instrumental for this and I stood up. I said, Nah, we have to do this. I understood it. It’s one of them ones that everyone our age or above would think, ‘Why didn’t I do that?’”

The rest of the EP will feature appearances from P Money, C Cane, and Afronaut Zu.
