Apple unveils new MacBook Air w/ Retina display, Touch ID & more

Aiming to make you fall in love with your MacBook all over again, Apple prepares to launch its new edition of the powerful lightweight laptop – which was unveiled at their New York (Brooklyn) event yesterday.

The company debuted a whole host of new tech, including things such as updated Macs (mini), and new iPad Pros. Although, customers and media outlets alike honed in on the new computer as a standout item. Kicking things with off with the Retina MacBook Air, the tech-giant introduced the new 13.3” high-resolution Retina display, Touch ID, keyboard and Force Touch trackpad.

Making strides towards becoming more environmentally conscious, Apple details:

“The iconic wedge is created from 100 percent recycled aluminum, making it the greenest Mac ever. And with all-day battery life,”

Arriving in Silver, Space Grey, and Gold, each laptop harnesses a glossy back finish. The display also features 48more colours than previous generations, razor-sharp text clarity and four million pixels – which is four times as many pixels as an HD display.

12 hours of battery life, an Intel Core i5 processor, 1.5TBSSD storage and 1.25kg weight, are some more little specs about the device.
