Edvard Munch Exhibition x Pokémon Card Game

A new exhibition is launching at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, as famed artist Edvard Munch sees his iconic painting “The Scream” showcased for the first time in Japan.

Because of this, Pokémon TCG (Trading Card Game) is releasing 5 limited cards of Pokémon styled to reimagine his famous painting.

Echoing his artistic stamp, iconic characters that appear on the cards include – Pikachu and Eevee – which all feature the same “Scream” attack.

Pokémon Centres in Japan will be exclusively selling the pack at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum from October 27th 2018. Obtained in a different way to the rest, the Pikachu card will not arrive with the selection. There is no information about how to actually get the super rare card.

Have a look through our gallery to check out the cards being released. Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comment section underneath or click the link below to explore more art related content.
