Take a look at Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s live adaptation of “The Boys” comic

A much gorier and darker comic-book series than what we’re used to, “The Boys” dives deep into the issues superheroes would face in the real world.

Exploring the demons that come with stardom and fame, the brutal upcoming series is centered around a group of vigilantes. Looked at as Gods, politicians, and saviours, the team excells in their ability to fight dirty. In the long run, they want to expose an organization known as “The Seven“, along with their superhero-manager, Vought.

Taking a mainly fun tone, the series was created by Preacher‘s Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson. The comic was first published by Wildstorm, before moving to Dynamite Entertainment. Writers on the show include Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. With official premiere date, the series is rumored to be available from Amazon Prime Video early 2019.
