Nike draws inspiration from ’89 for PSG’s 2019/20 Third Kit

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) go back to ’89 for 2019/20 Third Nike Kit

PSG recently unveiled their 2019-20 third kit with Nike, as the two celebrate 30 years together in the French premier division.

The design is taken from the classic 1989 kit, which featured in white throughout with a buttoned collar and standout red and blue vertical stripe detailing to boot.

Just like its predecessor, the shirt also features the Nike Futura logo and a jacquard pattern rising from the fabric. This season’s edition subtly incorporates the word “Paris” though – an added detail.

The kit also features Nike Breathe fabric helps you stay dry and cool, Dri-FIT Technology helps keep you dry and comfortable and is made from 100% recycled polyester.

The jersey is complemented by white shorts and socks, and the socks are enlivened by red and blue hoops from knee to ankle. Both the shorts and socks also feature the vintage Nike logo.

The third kit was worn for the first time in PSG’s home game against Strasbourg on Saturday, September 14th. It is available now for £69.95 at Nike‘s official website here.
