We went backstage at Leeds RAG 2017 fashion runway show at the University of Leeds (based in the UK).
This years theme “Samara” is the story of the cycle of the earth, raising awareness of the prevalent issues surrounding the industry within fashion.
The student designers have created some symbolic and interesting pieces using a render of different materials. Colours range from naturals to dark gothic blacks and raw denim blue.
After models received final trims and snips, they lead their way down 2017 runway.
The proceeds from the event went to their two nominate charities ‘Labour Behind the Label‘ and ‘Cruelty Free International Trust’. Both are closely linked with this years theme which is helping in focusing on social sustainability and animal rights.
